Matt Thompson, in his third year of the EngD, has been busy in the last few months. He presented a paper (An interactive, generative Punch and Judy show using institutions, ASP and emotional agents) at the conference for Artificial Intelligence and the Simulation of Behaviour (AISB) in Canterbury in April.
The Society for the Study of Artificial Intelligence and Simulation of Behaviour (AISB) is the largest Artificial Intelligence Society in the United Kingdom. Founded in 1964, the society has an international membership drawn from both academia and industry.
Matt will also be going to Atlanta at the end of the month to present at the Computational Models of Narrative conference, with a paper called "Governing Narrative Events with Institutional Norms".
