In April, our Research Engineer Daniela De Angeli will be travelling around the world to present her work and collaborate with another research centre:
4-13 April: Chicago (North America)
Attending the Conference Museum&Web where she will showcase two projects, "A Smartphone Headset for Augmented Reality Experiences in Museums” and "The Sample Room: a Responsive Exhibition". She will also present her research the Graduate Studies Colloquium focused on Digital Cultural Heritage.
14-25 April: Seoul (Asia)
Attending CHI, Conference of Human-Computer Interaction, to present the Work-in-progress “Development of an Inexpensive Augmented Reality (AR) Headset”.
26 April: Melbourne (Oceania)
Visiting researcher at GEElab, the RMIT University's Games & Experimental Entertainment Laboratory, where she will collaborate with Professor Steffen Walz and PhD William Owen to analyze the impact of virtual objects in museums. In particular, they are organizing a Game Jam for museums, and they will run a pilot of the event during her stay.
