The Network is pleased to announce it’s DEN Writing Retreat 2018 programme for current PhD/EngD students who are based within the DEN Member CDTs.
As in 2017, the writing retreats will again run over two full days, which can be attended on a residential or non residential basis. Registering delegates must attend both days due to the nature of the programme. CDT students set their writing goals at the start of the event and then focus on writing over a series of facilitated time-structured sessions.
There are a limited number of fully-funded places at each retreat and attendees must be currently registered as a doctoral student with their host University.
These events will be particularly beneficial for those who are looking for dedicated time to focus on writing up their thesis, to work on research papers/journals, prepare their annual review reports.
The events also offer opportunity for you to meet and talk with CDT students from across the DEN member CDTs during breaks and over dinner, in order to help turn writing from a solitary to a highly beneficial social and peer networking experience.
