The Centre for Digital Entertainment has once again been shortlisted for Best Educational Initiative in the TIGA Games Industry Awards 2018. You can find out more about the awards here. Bournemouth University also appears on the shortlist for Best Educational Institution. The ceremony takes place in London tonight where the winners will be announced. Fingers crossed!
CDE Research partner Designability are holding their 50th annual lecture ‘Assistive and Enabling technologies: Past, Present and Future’ at the University of Bath on Thursday 22nd November 2018. EPSRC Science Photo Competition 2018
EPSRC has launched its sixth Science Photo competition which will run until 16.00hrs (GMT) Wednesday 19th December 2018. The competition is open to all EPSRC-supported researchers and EPSRC-supported doctoral students, giving them the opportunity to share their research through pictures and the chance to win prizes.

The development and validation of new technologies in rheumatic disease provides an exciting opportunity to evolve and optimise personalised care for your patients in the 21st century. This talk will describe current rheumatology practice and explore opportunities to develop new technologies in the field.
Dr Raj Sengupta is a Consultant Rheumatologist and Lead for Ankylosing Spondylitis at The Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases, Bath (RNRHD). He is a member of the BSR Spondyloarthritis Special Interest Group, the BSR AxSpA Biologics Guidelines Committee and a member of ASAS (Assessment of Spondyloarthritis International Society).
