Why not join us for some Mini Golf followed by drinks and a buffet reception prior to the conference. The reception will take place at the 'Westgate' in the center of town, on Wednesday 31st May, 2017. The pub is a delightful setting, perfect for getting a feel for the city of Bath while catching up with friends and colleagues. This promises to be a great pre-conference event and we hope you will join us.
A CDE information session will take place prior to the main conference (CDE Research Engineers and Academics only), at The Edge, University of Bath and will commence at 09.30 on Thursday 1st June, 2017. Registration on the day will open at 08.45.

A DEN-funded 2-Day PhD Writing Retreat at the popular venue of The Apple Store Cafe & Hall, Wyresdale Park, Scorton, Lancs, PR3 1BA. This venue has proved very popular after the HighWire CDT expanded their retreats to welcome CDT students from other DEN centres.
Meals, refreshments and accommodation (at or close to venue) will be organised and provided (1 or 2 nights).

The Digital Economy Summer School 2017 will take place from Tuesday 4 July – Thursday 6 July 2017 at Loughborough University London‘s postgraduate campus on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in East London.
The cross-CDT inclusive theme for 2017 is ‘Innovation Insights for the Digital Workforce of Tomorrow’ and plans for the programme content are now underway. Further details will be announced on the DEN website and via social media channels once available. There will be some public engagement activities included within the event.
