CDE Winter Cohort Building and Networking Event 2017

Following CVMP, on the evening of Tuesday 12th December, we will be holding an evening reception (6pm – 8pm), where we will invite industry members to join us, network and view our CDE Research Poster Display.  This event is mandatory for all CDE students (permission must be granted by either Prof Peter Hall of Prof Jian Jun Zhang, for non-attendance).  It will be a great cohort building and networking opportunity and you will have the opportunity to discuss your research projects with industry and fellow students.

Students in years 3 & 4 will need to prepare a research based poster to showcase during the evening reception.  (please note, this could be a poster you have previously submitted to another event).  Students in year 2 are strongly encouraged to submit a poster and those in year 1 are welcome to submit, but this is not compulsory.

On Wednesday 13th December, we will be holding a coding workshop based around C++.  This will be a master class in C++ for those with little or no experience.  We hope that most of you will take up this fantastic opportunity.  Refreshments will be provided and there will also be time for you to network with your fellow CDE students.
